Supporting Students
When my wife and I received a letter explaining that our son would receive some additional academic support, my first reaction was concern. By the time I finished reading it, that concern had turned into gratitude. His teacher had noticed where some additional support could help—and was already responding.
In Episode 2, I share what that experience taught me about supporting students—and why being known, having the right academic support, access to school supplies, and school meals can help students arrive ready to learn.
