What I’ve Learned
Great schools are built on strong relationships. When students are supported, teachers are valued, and families feel heard, we create a school community where everyone can work together to help every child reach their full potential.
Relationships Build Trust
Great schools are built on strong relationships.
Trust grows when people listen first, communicate openly, work together, and keep showing up for one another.
My commitment is to help people feel heard, bring people together, and create opportunities for good ideas to grow.
What Matters Most
Every student deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential. I’ll support students through early academic support, equipping them with school supplies, and promoting the importance of school meals.
Great schools begin with great teachers. I'll support teachers by listening to their concerns, supporting their classroom needs, and strengthening relationships with families.
Families are essential partners in education. I'll create meaningful opportunities for families to participate, share their experiences, and strengthen relationships within their school communities.
Why I’m Running
When I first became involved in Grandville Public Schools, I wasn’t looking for a leadership role. I simply wanted to support my son’s school.
Over time, I’ve discovered great ideas often begin with people who feel heard. I’ve seen what can happen when parents, teachers, staff, and community members work together around a shared goal.
My experiences shaped my decision to run for the Grandville School Board. If you’d like to learn more about the journey that brought me here, I invite you to visit my Meet Nick page.
